Lubbock, TX (January 2, 2022) – One man has lost his life following an auto accident in the Lubbock area on Friday evening, December 31. Just after 4 p.m., authorities were called to provide assistance at the scene of a crash on Slaton Highway.
Reports from authorities show that 92-year-old Arlie Kelley was driving east in the 3200 block of East Slaton Highway when his vehicle became involved in a crash with a pickup truck.
The impact of the crash caused Kelley’s vehicle to roll over several times.
Kelley suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
