Lufkin, TX (November 2, 2021) – One person has lost their life following an auto accident in Lufkin on Sunday, October 31.
Reports from the police show that a red Ford Mustang was traveling north in the 2000 block of North Timberland Drive. As the vehicle proceeded across the roadway, it was T-boned by a pickup truck. The vehicle was then rear-ended by a second vehicle.
A total of five people involved in the accident were transported to area hospitals with injuries. One juvenile victim was later airlifted to a second hospital for further care.
Authorities confirmed that the driver of the Ford passed away from their injuries after arriving at the hospital.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
