Luling, TX – Man Loses Life in Truck Crash on I-10 near MM 632

Luling, TX (July 7, 2022) – A truck accident reported in Caldwell County claimed one man’s life on Friday morning. At around 2:30 a.m., on July 1, emergency crews were dispatched to the scene of a crash that occurred on Interstate 10.

Reports provided by the Texas Department of Public Safety show that a 2013 international truck tractor hauling a trailer was traveling on Interstate 10 when it became involved in a collision with a 2000 Peterbilt truck tractor pulling a dump trailer near mile marker 632.

The driver of the Peterbilt, a 51-year-old man, suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The driver of the international truck was transported to a local hospital for the treatment of injuries.

The incident remains under investigation at this time.
