Mansfield, TX (January 14, 2022) – An accident reported in the Mansfield area claimed one man’s life on Tuesday evening. At around 6:30 p.m., on January 11, emergency crews were notified that their assistance was needed on-site at a crash on Farm to Market Road 917.
Reports from authorities show that a man was struck by a truck in the 2800 block of Farm to Market Road 917. The truck driver remained at the scene and cooperated with law enforcement.
The man sustained severe injuries in the accident. Despite the best efforts of emergency crews, he passed away at the scene.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
