Mansfield, TX (May 23, 2022) – A multi-vehicle collision reported in Mansfield on Thursday evening has taken one person’s life. Just before 5 p.m., on May 19, emergency crews were dispatched to the scene of a motor vehicle accident that took place on Texas State Highway 287.
Reports provided by the Mansfield Police Department indicate that a passenger car crashed into an SUV on the northbound side of Texas State Highway 287 in the area of Turner Warnell Road. The impact of the crash caused the SUV to spin out of control and crash into a second SUV. All three vehicles involved in the crash sustained significant damage.
One person involved in the collision was declared deceased at the scene. No other victim suffered any serious injuries.
At this time, investigations surrounding the accident are underway.
