Marshall, TX (February 15, 2022) – A pedestrian accident reported on Friday evening in the Marshall area has claimed one woman’s life. At around 7:37 p.m., on February 11, emergency crews were notified that their assistance was needed on-site at a crash on Farm to Market Road 449.
Reports from the police show that 50-year-old Angela Reena Flamer was struck by a 1989 Ford Ranger on Farm to Market Road 449 during the evening hours.
The driver of the truck, 78-year-old Thomas Earl Jackson, remained at the scene and cooperated with law enforcement.
Flamer sustained fatal injuries in the accident and was declared deceased at the scene.
Upon further investigation, Jackson was determined to be under the influence of alcohol. Jackson was transported to Harrison County Jail where he was booked on charges of intoxication manslaughter.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
