McKinney, TX (June 28, 2022) – A motor vehicle accident reported in McKinney on Sunday evening claimed one man’s life. Around four p.m., on June 26, emergency crews were dispatched to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Stacy Road.
Reports provided by authorities show that a silver sedan ran a red light at a high rate of speed on Stacy Road at the intersection of the Texas State Route 121 Service Road. As a result, the vehicle struck a motorcycle. The impact of the crash caused the rider to be ejected from the vehicle. The motorcyclist, identified as an adult male, suffered significant injuries. He was rushed to an area hospital where he passed away from his injuries.
