Midland, TX (May 7, 2022) – A crash that took place in the Midland area has claimed the life of one woman, according to reports. On May 2, emergency crews in Midland County responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Interstate 20.
Reports provided by the Texas Department of Public Safety show that a 63-year-old woman was traveling in a vehicle on Interstate 20. As her vehicle was stopped in the westbound lanes of the interstate, it was rear-ended by a second westbound vehicle.
The woman suffered severe injuries in the crash. She was rushed to Midland Memorial Hospital where she passed away from her injuries.
The driver of the second vehicle was not injured. No other details surrounding the accident are available.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
