Nacogdoches, TX – Bicyclist Loses Life in Crash on Old Tyler Rd

Nacogdoches, TX (June 10, 2022) – A deadly accident reported on Tuesday evening in Nacogdoches claimed one person’s life. At around 630 p.m., on June 7, the police, firefighters, and emergency medical personnel responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Old Tyler Road.

Reports provided by the police show that a 60-year-old man was riding a bicycle in the 3300 block of Old Tyler Road. For unknown reasons, he was struck by a vehicle. The driver of the vehicle fled the scene without stopping.

The bicyclist suffered fatal injuries and was declared deceased at the scene.

No other injuries were reported in the crash.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
