Odessa, TX (May 29, 2022) – A crash that took place in Ector County on Friday claimed one man’s life. On May 27th, the Texas Department of Public Safety responded to the scene of an automobile accident that took place on Farm to Market Road 866.
Reports from DPS indicate that a truck tractor hauling a trailer was traveling on the southbound side of Farm to Market Road 866. As the vehicle waited to turn eastbound onto Ranch to Market Road 2020, it was struck by a second vehicle.
One person involved in the accident, identified as a 44-year-old man, suffered severe injuries in the accident. Despite the best efforts by emergency medical services, the victim died at the scene.
At this time, the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
