Pittsburg, TX (June 29, 2022) – One man lost his life as a result of a motor vehicle accident that took place in Camp County on Monday evening, June 27. At around 9:30 p.m., the Texas Department of Public Safety responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident that took place on US Highway 271.
Reports provided by authorities so that a 39-year-old man was walking in the area of US Highway 271 and County Road 4114 during the evening hours. For unknown reasons, he was struck by a vehicle that turned onto County Road 4114.
The pedestrian suffered significant injuries as a result of the accident. Emergency crews rushed to the scene to render aid to the victim. However, he was pronounced deceased at the scene.
At this time, because of the crash remains under investigation by the Texas Department of Public Safety. No other injuries were reported.
