Port Arthur, TX (March 29, 2022) – A motor vehicle accident reported in the Port Arthur area has taken one man’s life. At around 10:30 a.m., on March 27, emergency crews were requested on-site at a crash on Highway 73.
Reports from authorities show that a 2007 Peterbilt was traveling east on Highway 73. For unknown reasons, it became involved in a collision with a 2012 Chrysler passenger sedan.
The driver of the Chrysler and one passenger, identified as a 20-year-old woman, were both transported to CHRISTUS St Elizabeth for the treatment of injuries.
A second passenger in the Chrysler, a 19-year-old woman, sustained fatal injuries in the accident and was pronounced deceased on-site.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
