Post, TX – Woman Loses Life in Crash on US-84 near FM211

Post, TX (April 25, 2022) – One woman has lost her life as a result of a motor vehicle accident in Garza County, according to local law enforcement. On April 22, emergency crews were dispatched to the scene of an auto accident on US Highway 84.

Reports provided by the Texas Department of Public Safety show that a pickup truck was traveling east on Farm to Market Road 211 when it became involved in an accident with an SUV near US Highway 84.

The driver of the SUV, a 37-year-old woman from Post, was transported to University Medical Center in Lubbock where she passed away from her injuries.

Her passenger, a 6-year-old female, was transported to the same hospital with injuries.

The driver of the pickup truck, a 58-year-old man from Lubbock, was treated for minor injuries at University Medical Center in Lubbock. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
