River Oaks, TX (November 30, 2021) – A motor vehicle accident reported in River Oaks on Friday claimed one woman’s life. At around 10:30 p.m., on November 26, calls for assistance came in surrounding an auto accident on River Oaks Boulevard.
Reports from authorities show that 46-year-old Rene Scarborough was walking in the 4600 block of River Oaks Boulevard when she was struck by a vehicle.
Scarborough sustained fatal injuries in the accident and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
