Royse City, TX – Multi-Vehicle Truck Crash on I-30 near MM 75 Takes One Life

Royse City, TX (October 26, 2021) – One person has lost their life as a result of a motor vehicle accident in the Royse City area on Tuesday, according to reports.

On October 26, emergency crews were notified that a crash took place on Interstate 30.

Reports show that a semi-truck was traveling on Interstate 30 when the driver failed to notice traffic slowing on the roadway ahead. As a result, the semi-truck rear-ended a second semi-truck near mile marker 75. The axles were knocked out from under the trailer and were pushed back into a passenger vehicle.

One person involved in the accident suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene.

An undisclosed number of people inside the passenger vehicle were transported to local hospitals for further care.

At this time, the police department is investigating the crash.
