San Antonio, TX (November 20, 2021) – One person has lost their life as a result of a truck crash in Bexar County on Wednesday morning. On November 17, emergency crews were requested on-site at a crash on Highway 16.
Reports from law enforcement show that a crash involving a semi-truck and a sedan took place at around 5:15 a.m., in the 20000 block of Texas Highway 16. The crash caused some delays in the area of Smith Road as the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office closed off the roadway to clear the scene.
The vehicle, identified as a Nissan Rogue, was occupied by one adult male. It became trapped under the truck. Firefighters removed the victim. However, he was pronounced dead as a result of his injuries. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
