San Antonio, TX – Man Injured in Pedestrian Crash on S Presa St near Avondale Ave

San Antonio, TX (May 10, 2022) – One man was hospitalized following a motor vehicle accident on Sunday morning on the south side of San Antonio. At around four a.m., on May 8, the San Antonio Police Department was dispatched to a crash on South Presa Street.

Reports from authorities show that a man was walking in the area of South Presa Street and Avondale Avenue. For unknown reasons, the 31-year-old pedestrian was struck by a train passing through the area.

The pedestrian sustained moderate injuries as a result of the crash. He was transported to a local hospital and listed in stable condition. At this time, the crash remains under investigation.
