San Antonio, TX (March 11, 2022) – A crash reported Thursday morning on San Antonio’s Southeast Side has claimed one person’s life. On March 10, emergency crews were requested at the scene of a motor vehicle accident that took place on Interstate 37.
According to the San Antonio Police Department, at around 12:20 a.m., crews received reports that a Nissan Rogue was involved in an accident with a semi-truck on the southbound lanes of the interstate. The crash blocked Interstate 37 between Donop Road and US Route 181 for an extended period.
Two people in the Nissan were injured. One of the victims was pronounced dead at the scene as a result of their injuries. The second victim 3was admitted into Brooke Army Medical Center in critical condition.
At this time, the SAPD is investigating the crash.
