Seadrift, TX (March 8, 2023) – On Monday, March 6, a helicopter crash outside of Seadrift left two people dead.
The fatal incident took place as a Robinson R44 helicopter was flying from Port O’Connor to the Calhoun County-Port Lavaca Airport late that evening. The vessel was found the following day by emergency responders, and the male pilot and female passenger were pronounced dead. No additional information has been provided at this time.
An ongoing investigation into the deadly helicopter accident is underway.
