Shamrock, TX (March 14, 2022) – An automobile accident reported on Thursday evening in the Shamrock area has claimed one man’s life. At around 9:45 p.m., on March 10, the Texas Department of Public Safety responded to the scene of an accident on US Highway 83.
Reports from DPS show that a 2017 Volvo semi-truck tractor was towing a semi-trailer north on US Highway 83. For unknown reasons, the vehicle collided with a second tractor-trailer on the highway.
One person involved in the accident, 60-year-old Bradley Hedger, sustained fatal injuries in the accident. Hedger was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Two other people were transported to area hospitals for medical treatment.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
