Snyder, TX (March 10, 2023) – A teenager was killed after a crash involving a hydroplaned vehicle in Snyder on Wednesday evening, March 8.
The deadly accident took place at the 1200 block of College Avenue near TX-208 at around 11:15 p.m. The 18-year-old victim was traveling as the passenger of a northbound pickup truck when the vehicle hydroplaned. The truck left the road where it crashed into a fence.
The passenger was killed in the crash, and the driver was hurt. The identity of the deceased has been withheld.
An ongoing investigation into the cause of the fatal accident is in progress.
