Sulphur Springs, TX (November 11, 2021) – An automobile accident reported in the Sulphur Springs area claimed the lives of two victims. At around 12:50 p.m., on November 7, the Texas Department of Public Safety was notified that an accident took place on Texas State Highway 154.
Reports from DPS show that 86-year-old Charles Craig was driving a 2017 Nissan Murano on Texas State Highway 154 when he became involved in a collision with a southbound 2020 Chevrolet Equinox.
Craig and his passenger, 86-year-old Janice Craig, were both severely injured. The two drivers were transported to a local hospital where they later passed away.
The driver of the Chevrolet and her passenger were both transported to area hospitals for care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
