Temple, TX (March 17, 2023) – On Monday, March 13, one person was killed after a vehicle collision outside of Temple.
The deadly accident took place on TX-53 near Stone Road at around 11:30 a.m. It was reported that a 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by a 24-year-old Rosebud woman was headed east in front of another vehicle. At the same time, a 2017 Honda Pilot SUV driven by a 33-year-old Manor woman was attempting to make a left turn at the intersection.
It was reported that a vehicle behind the Jeep went onto the shoulder to pass the vehicle when it collided with Honda. Two occupants in the Pilot were transported to McLane Children’s Hospital. One was later pronounced dead.
An ongoing investigation into the deadly crash is in progress.
