The Woods, TX (December 18, 2021) – An auto accident reported in The Woods on Tuesday evening claimed the lives of two people. At around 9 p.m., on December 14, emergency crews were notified that their assistance was needed on-site at a crash on Eagle Ford Drive.
Reports provided by the police indicate that a Nissan SUV was attempting to make a left turn onto Eagle Ford Drive from Belt Line Road. For unknown reasons, the vehicle collided with a Lincoln Sedan.
The driver and passenger of the Nissan were both fatally injured in the accident. Emergency crews arrived on-site and pronounced them deceased from their injuries.
A juvenile passenger in the Nissan and the driver of the Lincoln were both transported to area hospitals for care.
