Fatal Car Accidents in Texas
Around ten people lose their lives each day in motor vehicle accidents across the state of Texas. In many cases, these crashes are entirely preventable. We see many drivers, passengers, and other travelers lose their lives in accidents due to the negligence of others. Some leading causes of collisions we see each year include:
- Driving while impaired by drugs or alcohol
- Using cell phones to talk or text while driving
- Eating while operating vehicles
- Speeding
- Driving recklessly
These and other acts of negligence continue to have an overwhelming impact on families who are forced to deal with the negative consequences of losing a loved one.
When victims lose their lives in crashes, their families are often forced to endure overwhelming consequences. Dealing with mental and emotional pain and suffering is only made worse by the financial consequences they face. Many families have to cover funeral expenses, medical costs, and deal with the loss of a source of income they have grown to depend on.
When victims are killed in motor vehicle collisions, due to the negligence of others, families may have legal options available to help them move forward. Seeking the assistance of a wrongful death lawyer in Tyler can help you get justice.
