Wolfforth, TX (June 19, 2022) – A motor vehicle accident reported in the Wolfforth area claimed one person’s life. At around 11 p.m., on June 16, calls for assistance came in surrounding a crash on Highway 62/82.
Reports from local authorities show that a pedestrian was traveling in the area of Highway 62/82, just west of Dowden Road, during the evening hours. For unknown reasons, the pedestrian was struck by a vehicle.
The pedestrian sustained fatal injuries as a result of the accident and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
