Midland, TX – Dawson Gowin Loses Life in Crash on Andrews Highway near Midland Dr

Midland, TX (January 25, 2022) – One man has lost his life as a result of a motor vehicle accident reported early Sunday morning in the Midland area. At around 12:50 a.m., on January 23, emergency crews were requested on-site at a crash on Andrews Highway.

Reports from the Texas Department of Public Safety show that a Lincoln SUV was traveling east on Andrews Highway when it collided with a Crown Victoria in the area near Midland Drive.

The driver of the Crown Victoria, 21-year-old Dawson Garrett Gowin, suffered fatal injuries as a result of the accident. Emergency crews arrived at the scene and pronounced him deceased from his injuries.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
