Lubbock, TX (April 11, 2022) – One person was transported to a local hospital for the treatment of injuries following an accident in the Lubbock area. On April 10, the Texas Department of Public Safety was requested on-site at a crash on US Highway 62/82.
Reports provided by authorities show that a semi-truck and a passenger vehicle were both traveling east on the highway when they became involved in a collision near County Road 6300.
The driver of the passenger car was injured in the collision. The victim was transported by EMS to a nearby hospital for medical care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
