Lubbock, TX – Rider Injured in Motorcycle Crash on 50th St near Avenue D

Lubbock, TX (July 4, 2022) – A motorcycle accident reported in the Lubbock area left one person seriously injured. Around 2 a.m., on July 3, the Lubbock Police Department responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on 50th Street.

Reports provided by authorities show that a motorcycle and a second vehicle collided on 50th Street at the intersection of Avenue D during the early morning hours. The incident blocked the roadway, causing severe delays in traffic throughout the area.

The rider on the motorcycle suffered serious injuries as a result of the accident. The victim was rendered aid at the scene by responding medical personnel. The injured party was then transported to Covenant Medical Center for further treatment of injuries.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
