Lubbock, TX (February 7, 2023) – Two people were hospitalized as a result of a car crash that took place on Monday afternoon in Lubbock.
The police department in Lubbock was notified at approximately 350 p.m. on February 6 that they were needed at the scene of a traffic accident.
Preliminary reports show that a motorcycle and a passenger vehicle collided on the southbound side of Avenue Q near the intersection of 50th Street.
The Lubbock Police Department and firefighters responded to the scene and secured the roadway.
Two victims suffered injuries due to the crash. The two victims were transported to area hospitals, where they were admitted for further care. One victim was in serious condition.
The police department is currently investigating the accident.
