Odessa, TX (February 4, 2023) – Emergency crews were dispatched to provide help at the scene of a traffic crash on Thursday morning that took place in Odessa. On February 2, the Texas Department of Public Safety responded to a crash on 10th Street.
Reports provided by authorities show that a GMC SUV was traveling through 10th Street at the intersection of Texas State Highway 302. For unknown reasons, the driver failed to yield the right-of-way while passing through the stop sign. As a result, it collided with two pickup trucks at approximately 6:30 p.m.
Multiple people involved in the accident suffered injuries. Paramedics were called to the scene of the accident to provide care for the victims. The ambulances then transported the victims to Medical Center Hospital for emergency treatment.
The circumstances surrounding the crash are currently being investigated.
