Richardson, TX (February 4, 2022) – A motorcycle accident reported on Wednesday morning claimed one person’s life and left a second victim injured. Just before 5 a.m., on February 2, emergency crews were notified that their assistance was needed on-site at a crash on US Highway 75.
Reports from authorities show that a collision between two motorcycles occurred on the northbound lanes of 3700 US Highway 75 near Campbell Road.
Both motorcycles were ejected from their vehicles as a result of the accident. The two victims then landed in the roadway.
Firefighters and police responded to the scene and immediately went to work on securing the roadway.
Both victims were transported to area hospitals via ambulance for emergency medical care. Authorities confirmed that one of the two victims later passed away from their injuries.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
