San Antonio, TX (January 8, 2023) – Authorities throughout San Antonio responded to the scene of a traffic crash that took place on Friday evening that left one pedestrian injured. On January 6, the San Antonio Police Department was notified that a traffic accident occurred on Marbach Road.
According to reports, at around 9:54 p.m., a male pedestrian was standing near the westbound side of the road in the 8100 block of Marbach Road when he was struck by a gray Cadillac Escalade.
The man suffered life-threatening injuries due to the crash. He was rushed to University Hospital for emergency medical care.
The driver remained at the scene of the accident and spoke with law enforcement.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation at this time.
