San Antonio, TX (May 17, 2022) – A motor vehicle accident on Sunday morning in the San Antonio area left a man in his mid-30s with serious injuries. At around 4 a.m., on May 15, the San Antonio Police Department was dispatched to a crash on Poplar Street.
Reports from authorities show that a man was walking north in the 3300 block of Poplar Street during the early morning hours. For unknown reasons, he was struck by a black SUV, identified as possibly a Chevrolet Suburban, near Dokes Drive.
The pedestrian sustained severe injuries in the crash and was rushed to University Hospital for care/
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
