San Antonio, TX (May 30, 2022) – A major motor vehicle accident reported on Thursday evening in the San Antonio area left two people injured. At around 11 p.m., on May 26, the San Antonio Police Department and firefighters were notified that an automobile accident on West mistletoe Avenue required assistance.
Reports provided by the SA PD indicate that an SUV and a sedan were involved in a collision on West mistletoe Avenue in the area near San Pedro Avenue. The impact of the crash caused the car to strike a truck.
Two people inside the car suffered injuries as a result of the accident. Both victims were rushed to an area hospital for emergency medical care.
Authorities determined that the driver of the SUV was under the influence of drugs or alcohol. The driver was arrested and charged with DUI.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
