San Antonio, TX (January 13, 2023) – A pedestrian accident was reported on Thursday evening that sent two teens to a local hospital with injuries. At around 6:30 p.m., on January 12, the San Antonio Police Department was requested to provide assistance at the scene of an accident on the south side of the city.
According to law enforcement, a 13-year-old and an 18-year-old were in the neighborhood selling candies in the area of Roosevelt Avenue and East White Avenue. As the two teens attempted to cross the roadway, they were struck by a pickup truck.
Both of the teens suffered serious injuries in the accident. The two victims were rushed to area hospitals for emergency care. One of the victims was admitted to the hospital in critical condition.
The circumstances surrounding the accident are being investigated by the police in San Antonio.
