Sugar Land, TX (January 19, 2023) – A traffic accident occurred in the Sugar Land area that claimed one person’s life. On January 19, the Police Department and firefighters in Sugar Land responded to the scene of a traffic accident that had taken place on Highway 6.

According to law enforcement, a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle just before 6 a.m. on Highway 6 in the area near Settlers Way. The pedestrian was severely hurt in the accident.

Emergency crews responded to the scene to provide care to the injured victim. However, the pedestrian died from the injuries they suffered. The incident remains under investigation at this time.
