Fatal Pedestrian Accidents in Texas
Pedestrian crashes across the state of Texas take the lives of hundreds of people annually. There are many instances where these accidents are completely preventable. We see innocent people die day after day as a result of drivers who are speeding, distracted, or impaired. Pedestrians are far more vulnerable than other types of motorists involved in accidents. Unfortunately, they continue to pay the ultimate price every day.
When innocent pedestrians lose their lives as a result of fatal car crashes, families are able to pursue legal action. Working with a wrongful death lawyer in Sugar Land can provide you with the best opportunity to seek the maximum amount of compensation possible.
You may be able to recover economic damages, such as medical expenses and lost wages, and noneconomic damages, such as loss of parental guidance and loss of companionship. If your loved one was the breadwinner of the family, you may also be able to recover financial support through a wrongful death suit. It is important that you have a strong legal team by your side that will fight to ensure you are able to maximize the amount of compensation you recover.
In order to succeed when filing a wrongful death claim, you must be able to demonstrate that the negligence of another party caused the death of your loved one.
