Texarkana, TX (February 10, 2023) – Two people were left injured as a result of a school bus crash that took place on Wednesday in Texarkana. The accident was reported on February 8 to area law enforcement.
According to the police in Texarkana, an SUV was stopped at the intersection of Lake Drive and Flower Acres Road. For unknown reasons, a Liberty Eylau school bus came up behind the SUV and crashed into its rear.
Two people in the SUV, identified as a child and an adult, were both injured. The two victims were transported to area hospitals for further care.
None of the five children nor the driver of the bus suffered injuries in the accident.
At this time, the circumstances surrounding the crash are being investigated.
