Alton, TX (March 15, 2022) – Two people have lost their lives as a result of a motor vehicle accident in Alton on Friday morning, March 11. At around 1:30 a.m., on March 11, emergency crews were requested on-site at a crash on 5 Mile Road.
Reports from local authorities show that a gray Jeep Compass and a white Ford F-150 collided on 5 Miles Road in the area of Stewart Boulevard during the early morning hours.
Two people in the Jeep were fatally injured in the accident. Emergency crews identified the victims as 21-year-old Christopher Moses Garcia and 21-year-old Karen Espino. They were both pronounced deceased at the scene.
The driver of the Ford was injured in the accident. EMS transported the driver to a local hospital for care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
