Austin, TX – One Killed in Pedestrian Crash on I-35 near Ben White Blvd

Austin, TX (April 29, 2022) – A pedestrian crash reported early Thursday morning, April 28, has claimed one person’s life. At around 2 a.m., the police and emergency crews were dispatched to the scene of an auto accident on Interstate 35.

Reports provided by authorities show that a pedestrian was traveling in the area of Interstate 35 and Ben White Boulevard. For unknown reasons, they were struck by a vehicle.

Police believe that several vehicles may have struck the pedestrian before emergency crews arrived.

At the scene of the accident, the victim was declared deceased from their injuries.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
