Austin, TX (February 19, 2022) – A motor vehicle accident reported on Tuesday morning has claimed one person’s life in Travis County. At around 6:20 a.m., on February 15, the Texas Department of Public Safety responded to the scene of an accident that was reported on Highway 183.

Reports from authorities show that a rear-end collision between a Volkswagen and a Ford pickup truck towing a trailer occurred in the 9100 block of Highway 183. The impact of the crash pushed the Volkswagen into a Kia in the area near Farm to Market Road 973 and McKenzie Road.
