Carthage, TX (April 5, 2022) – An auto accident reported in Panola County claimed one man’s life. On April 1, the Texas Department of Public Safety responded to the site of a crash on Texas State Highway 315.
Reports provided by authorities show that a GMC Sierra pickup truck was traveling west on Texas State Highway 315 when the vehicle collided with a second vehicle.
The second vehicle driver, a 63-year-old man from Ruston, Louisiana, suffered fatal injuries in the accident and was pronounced deceased on-site.
The driver of the GMC was transported to UT Health East Texas – Carthage for care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
