Elgin, TX (March 13, 2023) – A car accident in Elgin left one person dead and four others hurt on Saturday, March 11.
At around 9 p.m., the collision took place on County Line Road south of Highway 290. It was reported that two adult victims were pinned inside a vehicle. One of those adults sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene, and the other was transported to Dell Seton Medical Center in critical condition.
Three other people involved in the crash were also treated for sustained injuries. No further information has been provided at this time.
An ongoing investigation into the cause of the accident is underway.
