Greenville, TX (December 9, 2021) – A pedestrian accident reported in the Greenville area has taken one person’s life on Saturday morning, December 4. At around 2:35 a.m., the Texas Department of Public Safety responded to the site of a crash on Interstate 30.
Reports from DPS show that a pedestrian was traveling near the westbound side of Interstate 30 just west of Greenville. For unknown reasons, the pedestrian was struck by a 2017 semi-truck tractor-trailer.
The pedestrian sustained fatal injuries in the accident and was immediately pronounced deceased at the scene.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
