Houston, TX (December 19, 2021) – A major motor vehicle accident reported in the Houston area ended in injuries. At around 7 a.m., on December 18, emergency crews responded to the scene of a major motor vehicle accident in the Houston area.
Reports from local authorities show that a gray Honda was traveling on Interstate 10 (Katy Freeway) during the morning hours. The vehicle began experiencing mechanical issues, causing it to come to a stop on the roadway.
As a result, a chain-reaction crash between the Honda and five other vehicles occurred in the area near Barker Express Road. One of the involved vehicles rolled over and landed on its side.
A total of eleven people, including four juveniles, were injured in the crash. The victims were all transported to area hospitals for care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
