Houston, TX (June 20, 2022) – A motor vehicle accident reported in the Houston area on Saturday evening has claimed one person’s life. At around 5:15 p.m., on June 18, emergency crews were dispatched to the site of a crash on Interstate 69.
Reports from local authorities show that a collision between a motorcycle and a second vehicle occurred on the Eastex Freeway, Interstate 69. The incident caused delays near the off-ramp for Hopper Road.
The police and firefighters closed off the southbound lanes of the freeway as they worked to clear the area and tend to injured victims.
One person involved in the accident suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased.
