Katy, TX (February 24, 2022) – One man has lost his life as a result of a motor vehicle accident on Tuesday evening, February 22. At around 11 p.m., authorities were called to the site of an officer-involved crash on Clay Road.

Reports from the Harris County Sheriff’s Office show that a deputy’s patrol vehicle was en-route to a call on Clay Road. For unknown reasons, the vehicle struck a man walking in the area.

The man suffered severe injuries in the accident. He was rushed to Memorial Hermann Hospital for care. However, he passed away from his injuries.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
