Lower Valley, TX (December 4, 2021) – Three people have lost their lives following a motor vehicle accident in the Lower Valley area. At around 1:35 p.m., on December 1, the police, firefighters, and EMS were all requested on-site at a crash on North Loop Drive.
Reports from authorities show that a man was driving a semi-truck tractor-trailer in the area of North Loop Drive and Lee Trevino Drive. As the vehicle turned left onto North Loop Drive, it collided with a 2020 Subaru Outback.
The driver of the Outback, 69-year-old David Valles, and his passengers, 67-year-old Elia De La Cruz, and a male in his 90s, were all declared deceased at the scene.
The driver of the semi-truck, 59-year-old Daniel Barrio Baray, was transported to a local hospital with injuries.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
