Marlin, TX (April 6, 2022) – An aviation accident reported on Tuesday afternoon in the Marlin area has claimed the lives of two victims. At around 12:40 p.m., on April 5, emergency crews were dispatched to the site of a crash near the Marlin Airport.
Reports from the Federal Aviation Administration show that a single-engine Cessna T206H aircraft was flying from Houston Executive Airport toward the Waco Regional Airport during the early afternoon hours. For unknown reasons, the aircraft crashed into a field located near the 500 block of Farm to Market Road 147.
Two people on the plane suffered fatal injuries as a result of the accident. Emergency crews rushed to the scene to render aid to the victims. However, they were both pronounced deceased.
At this time, investigations surrounding the incident are underway.
