San Antonio, TX (October 18, 2021) – One man has lost his life following a motor vehicle accident in the San Antonio area late Saturday evening, October 16.
At around 11:50 p.m., authorities were called to the site of a crash on the South Side of San Antonio.
Reports from the San Antonio Police Department show that an adult male was driving a Ford Fusion eastbound in the 10300 block of Southeast Loop 410. For unknown reasons, the Ford became involved in a collision with a semi-truck as it merged into the Ford driver’s lane.
The impact of the crash caused both vehicles to catch on fire with the Ford driver trapped inside.
The driver suffered severe injuries in the accident. Emergency crews arrived at the scene and pronounced the man deceased.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
